Where is your office located?
Conveniently located on 1700 Coit Road, Suite 110, Plano, TX 75075 near the Medical Center of Plano past 15th Street on right. There is ample parking with ADA access ramp to the office.For directions please click here
What if I am sick and need to be seen immediately?
We do offer same-day appointments for sick visits.
I can't find doctors who will see me with no insurance. Can you help me?
Yes, we welcome patients with and without health insurance.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
You should bring the following to your first appointment: completed patient forms (available for download on this website), current insurance card, photo identification, social security card, names and information of any doctors/specialists that you are currently being seen by, and lists/bottles of all current medication (including herbal supplements/over the counter medications).
How early do I need to arrive for my appointment?
It is recommended that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment in order to allow for time to submit all necessary paperwork and for verification/update of insurance and/or personal information.
Do you perform any lab tests at your facility?
For your convenience we draw onsite blood draw to be sent to a larger lab company, and we also perform some rapid in-house lab tests that provide immediate results. We do not perform any x-ray/imaging tests at our facility.
I'm really frustrated. I can't get a hold of my doctor or nurse for prescription refills, or to get questions answered. How will it be any different at your clinic?
We know how important it is to you to have your needs met quickly. Dr. Philips strives to respond within 24-48 business hours of your call (often the very same day). However, if she is delayed due to an emergency, we will let you know.
What if I have a question about a bill received from your office?
All billing inquiries should be directed to the accounts payable department at the office.
How long will a new or annual visit take and what is covered?
An annual visit usually takes between 20-30 minutes, covering your medical past, family history, eating and drinking habits, medications, allergies and a thorough physical examination.
My employer cut back on our health care benefits and there's a chance they'll drop it completely. What can I do?
We know the stress and worry you’re feeling. We can provide the access to health care you and your family need at an affordable cost while building a personal relationship with your doctor.
Do you offer a weight loss program?
We offer many weight management program advice, dietician referral, prescription medications, and functional meal replacements, which all complement a comprehensive exercise and nutrition regimen.
Does the office have EHR (Electronic Medical Records) implemented?
Yes, our EHR is called EMD and the Practice was one of the early adopters.
Do you see children in your practice?
We welcome anyone from age 12 and up as patient.
Do you accept insurance?
We welcome all major insurance plans. Please see our website for the list. Medicare will be accepted in the near future.
Which Payment methods are accepted?
Cash, Checks, Credit Cards: American Express, Discover, Master Card, & Visa
Do you have a financial hardship payment policy?
This is on a case by case basis. Please discuss in person with the office administrator.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our healthcare can best be described as low volume and high quality. Each and every appointment time has been specifically reserved for you. We ask that you call a day in advance to reschedule or cancel your appointment. A $25 dollar late cancellation fee will be charged to your account if you do not notify us within 24 hours.

How do I get a hold of my doctor after hours?
In an emergency situation, please call 911 or seek immediate medical attention at your local ER facility. For non-emergency please call 972-612-4007 and you will be connected to an on-call physician. We generally have our physicians taking calls live without having to deal with answering service. For non-urgent matters, you may choose to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message at the office. We strive to respond the same day.
Can I request medication refills online?
Online refills are coming soon via Patient Portal at our website. At present, please call for refills 972-612-4007 during office hours or E-mail to email@example.com
How do I request Patient Chart?
Call the office at 972-612-4007. There may be a fee associated with this service.
Is parking available?
Free parking is available in front of the office.
